Shift: Various (AM/PM). Must have ability to provide 5 days scheduling availability (weekdays/weekends/holidaysrequired).
What will I be doing?
A Cook 4 with Hilton Hotels and Resortsis responsible forpreparing salads, fruits, dressings, cold meats, fish items, canapés, cold hors d’oeuvres,appetizersand other cold dishes according to Hilton’shigh standardsof quality. Specifically, you wouldbe responsible forperforming the following tasks to the highest standards:
Prepares all food items according to standard recipes or, as otherwise specified by supervisor, to ensure consistency of product to the guest; requires transportation of heavy food products.
Checks and controls the proper storage of, especially on all fresh produce, checking onportioncontrol, tomaintainquality product.
Keeps all refrigeration, storage, and working areas clean, working condition in order to comply with Health Department regulations.
Ensures that all equipment in working areas is clean and in proper working condition tocomply withHealth Department regulations.
Visually inspects,selectsand uses only the freshest fruits, vegetables,meatsand other food products of the highest standard in the preparation of all menu items. Reads and employs math skills for following recipes. Prepares requisition for supplies and food items for production in workstation.
The hourly rate for thisposition is$20.95 - $23.28.
