Description

We are offering a contract for a Sales Support Specialist who will be working remotely from Wahiawa, Hawaii. You will be joining our team in the sales industry, where you'll contribute by handling customer relations, managing sales orders, and performing various administrative tasks. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirements. To apply, please call us at 808-531-0800.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing web-based order entry systems to enhance customer service

• Handle the creation of sales orders in a timely manner, delegate carriers, and manage daily modifications

• Conduct weekly audits of inventory to ensure accuracy

• Respond to calls from both internal and external customers promptly and professionally

• Manage the receipt of purchase orders, booking orders, and dispatching sales reports through various EDI functions

• Verify the details on incoming invoices for accuracy and handle billing functions

• Regularly communicate with customers and carriers to resolve issues and maintain relationships

• Facilitate effective communication between customers, ports, and Regional Product Managers

• Provide backup support for the Senior District Sales Manager, including managing contract sales and market sales

• Handle requests for point-of-sale materials and ensure their timely delivery.

Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Sales Support Specialist role or similar.

• Proficient in answering inbound calls, effectively addressing customer inquiries and concerns.

• Demonstrated experience in auditing tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.

• Must have a strong understanding and experience in performing billing functions.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively liaise with clients and team members.

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software for various accounting and financial tasks.
