Position Location:Waco, TX and Duluth, GA

The Software Engineer Intern will assist the Development team with tasks related to product design, coding, testing. This position will obsess about the best user experience and highest standard of quality for all our products.

What You’ll Be Doing

· Perform maintenance and enhancements of existing products

· Adhere to department standards, policies and procedures

· Provide technical support internally and with customers and prospects as required

· Complete administrative responsibilities in a timely fashion

· Provide clients with on-site support and services

· Provide technical support after-hours

What You’ll Bring to the Table

· Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree or an Associate degree/ certificate program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred

· Some knowledge of ASP.NET (4.5+) preferred

· Some knowledge of an RDBMS database (Oracle, Sybase, etc.) preferred

· Passion for agile, continuous integration, and TDD

· An idea about other web and object-oriented technologies (PHP, Java, JavaScript, etc.)

· Eager to learn and willingness to complete varied assigned tasks

· General technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, and implementation

· General understanding of product development lifecycles

· Basic technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation

· Good analytical and design skills at single product level

· Basic understanding of development process, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance

· Ability to learn quickly; and also understand how business issues impact overall project plans

· Good communications and interpersonal skills

· Occasional on-call/after-hours support
