Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Full-Time Maintenance Technician for the day-to-day maintenance of two apartment communities located in Waco, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other general repairs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues in resident apartments as needed.
- Work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
- Be available for overtime, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Ensure maintenance supplies are stocked and report inventory needs.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience preferred.
- Must be clean-cut and present a professional appearance when interacting with residents.
- Strong work ethic, dependable, and reliable.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work on-call, weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Valid Social Security number.
- Must pass criminal and rental history background checks.
