Job Title: Maintenance Technician Weekly Pay- $30-$35+/hr

Job Description

Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the scheduled, unscheduled, and preventative maintenance and repair of a wide variety of beverage manufacturing and packaging equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical skills base, including knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, conveyor systems, and PLC usage.

Shift: Night shift, 7pm - 7:30am

Essential Functions:

• Effectively complete preventive and proactive maintenance per the schedule to prevent equipment breakdowns.

• Utilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages while collaborating with other departments.

• Act as the initial responder when a line stops producing, ensuring that appropriate mechanical help is on-site to correct problems quickly using electrical and/or mechanical skills.

• Prioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment, tools, and utility systems to minimize manufacturing downtime. Complete all required paperwork and documentation in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

• Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment, including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessary.

• Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions using voltmeters or other testing devices.

• Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.

• Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.

• Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety performance standards.

• Support the facility’s food safety and food quality programs to ensure compliance and achieve desired results.

• Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Waco, Texas.

Work Environment

Night shift opportunity: 7pm - 7:30am, 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off. Will be off work every other weekend and everyone works a 6-hour shift every Monday whether it's an off day or on day.
