Job Description: The Corporate Communications Consultant will develop and implement relevant internal and external strategies that increase employee, patient and community awareness, understanding and support for major initiatives, organizational priorities and goals, and healthcare industry topics and trends. This position will work closely with Enterprise Manager of Corporate Communications, the Enterprise Director of Newsroom, Media and Public Relations and administrative leadership to provide strategic consulting for communications initiatives and issues to align corporate knowledge around the Triple Aim, goal, and priorities; strengthen workplace relationships and engagement; and consult on department and industry best practices. The Consultant will deliver the right message, at the right time, to the right audience, using the right channel or publication. Major Responsibilities: 1. Works with administrative leaders and service lines to develop communication objectives and goals to engage relevant audiences, connect audiences to the organization's goals and priorities, and accelerate change. The Consultant plans for and anticipates needs for information and recommends timely, appropriate responses to administrative leaders and relevant audiences. 2. Leads and/or collaborates with administrative leaders and services lines to design, develop and implement proactive, effective communications strategies, plans and messaging. The Consultant translates business and communication goals and initiatives into messages that are easily understood throughout all levels of the organization. 3. Collaborates with administrative leaders to review business plans and identify communication needs and priorities. Manage feedback channels to gather insight into employee acceptance and understanding of organizational priorities, issues and initiatives. The Consultant collects feedback and synthesizes it into communication plans for administrative leaders. 4. Manages projects effectively by developing business case analysis and return-on-investment scenarios for projects and programs delivered with high quality, on-time, within budget, and using appropriate resources. 5. Determines the best medium to deliver messages to reach relevant audiences using the latest technology (intranet/internet, social media, printed flyers, employee publications, web blogs/employee feedback board, etc.). 6. Researches, develops and distributes communication plans a d messages to keep relevant audiences informed of organizational priorities, programs, services, including care and treatment; benefits and pay programs and philosophies; educational opportunities; organizational activities and events; and the business aspects of healthcare. 7. Writes, edits and distributes messages to relevant audiences through email, online content, internal newsletters, printed forms, teleconferencing and live presentations. 8. Develops creative concepts, copywriting and editing for internal and external communication campaigns, organizational announcements, executive communications and other projects as assigned. 9. Leads or participates in planning and organizing special events. Promotes goodwill through speeches, promotional projects and question and answer sessions. 10. Adheres to regular and predictable attendance. 11. Performs other job-related responsibilities as requested. Education and Learning: REQUIRED Bachelor's degree inCommunicationsor a related field DESIRED Master's degree in Communicationsora related field Work Experience: REQUIRED 8-10 yearsminimum progressive experience in healthcare communications.
