Robert Half Senior Accountant (Non-Profit) in Vista, California

Description

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for preparing financial reports to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up accounting practices and procedures for new operations and assist with system setup for new properties.

  • Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.

  • Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting/finance.

  • Non-profit experience with fund accounting is a plus but not required.

  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate strong leadership skills.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
