Job Title: R&D Design ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Design Manager to create Computer Aided Design (CAD) models, assemblies, and drawings using the SolidWorks CAD system. This role requires maintaining an organized archive of all design concepts and files, performing dimension and tolerance analysis on part assemblies, and participating in training and development programs related to medical device manufacturing and development.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD models, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks CAD system.

• Maintain an organized archive of all design concepts and files.

• Perform dimension and tolerance analysis on part assemblies.

• Participate in training and development programs related to medical device manufacturing and development.

• Assist in the design and construction of test fixtures and prototypes to accomplish assigned project and testing goals.

• Write test protocols and reports.

Essential Skills

• Advanced experience with SolidWorks.

• Advanced level understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

• Advanced level understanding of mechanical theory.

• 5-8 years of R&D experience with spine products.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with pedicle screws is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a machine shop that adheres to very clean standards as per FDA requirements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00
