We are currently searching for a high-level Project Accountant to join our dynamic team in Vista, CA. This position is perfect for professionals looking to take their career to the next level, leveraging their financial expertise to support our diverse projects.

As a Project Accountant, you will specialize in the financial oversight of projects, developing comprehensive budgets, tracking expenses, overseeing billing and invoicing, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in high-level financial management.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain project budgets and financial reports.

• Ensure completion of monthly project financial reports and forecasts.

• Oversee the billing of projects to ensure timely submission of all customer invoices.

• Work closely with project managers to track project progress and performance.

• Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and utilization

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or a related field.

• At least five years' experience in project accounting or a financially-focused role.

• Experience in using accounting software and databases.

• Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data privacy standards.

• Proven ability to manage multiple, ongoing project engagements.
