We are currently in search of a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join our client's team in the construction industry at our Vista location. The individual will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the accounts payable function.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee routine department activities, such as disbursing checks and processing payroll, to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time.

• Maintain accurate and complete financial, employee, and client records.

• Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.

• Perform audits of various types, such as internal, managerial, independent, and cost.

• Provide advice and assistance to other company personnel on technical accounting issues.

• Handle, track, and reconcile high volume, multi-entity accounts payable.

• Review the organization’s systems and analyze risks to suggest improvements.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

• At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role within the accounts payable department.

• Experience in the Construction industry is preferred.

• Exceptional leadership qualities and ability to manage staff.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other accounting software.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
