Industrial Maintenance Technician

Description:

• Maintain machines in optimal running condition.

• Troubleshoot machine problems and respond promptly to maintenance calls.

• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and fabrication tasks.

• Comprehend PLC ladder logics.

• Safely use a variety of hand tools, pressing equipment, lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, sanders, and lift equipment.

• Perform shutdown procedures and check power, water, and vacuum pressure of machines.

• Maintain required written reports and documentation.

• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on production support equipment such as compressors, chillers, dryers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, and pumps.

Schedule:

• 3rd shift: 12:00 am - 8:00 am

Skills:

• Mechanical troubleshooting

• Electrical troubleshooting

• Pneumatics and hydraulics

• Preventive maintenance

• Maintenance repair

• Fabrication skills

• Experience with chillers, dryers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, and pumps

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency with basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as calipers, gauges, and meters

• Ability to use maintenance devices like calipers, dial indicators, and percussion reading tools

• Experience with scissor/boom lifts, ladders, parts washers, cherry pickers, electrical troubleshooting equipment, and fabrication equipment such as welders, grinders, lathes, mills, band saws, and drill presses

• High Speed Packaging & Manufacturing Facility

• On-site position located in Visalia, CA
