About the Role:

As the Supplier Diversity Program Analyst, you will have the opportunity to leverage data to shape and guide business decisions. As an integral part of our team, you will play a vital role in our social equity and sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Tier-1 reporting processes. Ensure all quarterly data is prepared and uploaded into the diversity reporting tools and create reports for our internal business teams.

  • Lead the Tier II Reporting Program and its associated strategies to enhance annual impact. This involves a focus on improving Tier II spend response rates, conducting analysis, onboarding prime suppliers, and overseeing general reporting and troubleshooting management.

  • Develop internal database(s) to track diverse vendors used across the organization and the high volume of potential vendor engagement generated by the company’s website and email inboxes.

  • Implement sound reporting controls to improve reporting operations.

  • Evaluate sourcing categories that provide the most opportunities for diverse vendors and research the categories that are participation areas for more diverse suppliers.

  • Serve as an additional point of contact for working with sourcing leads to ensure the adherence to the Supplier Diversity Policies for vendor participation and monitor the participation and awarding of contracts to diverse vendors.

  • Assist the sourcing leads and internal colleagues with vendor search queries to ensure a thorough and accurate search of diverse vendors.

  • Identify and engage with potential small and diverse suppliers who meet the necessary qualifications and facilitate initial discussions with engagement owners and procurement decision-makers.

  • Research industry best practices in supplier diversity programs and provide recommendations for implementing appropriate practices to continually enhance the Supplier Diversity program.

  • Collaborate with the Supplier Diversity Manager on facilitating outreach initiatives to build relationships with industry suppliers, actively participate in conferences and networking events, and internally promote the program to enhance awareness among colleagues.

  • Assist in developing and executing annual and multi-year program plans to help S&P Global meet Supplier Diversity goals and continuously improve program operations.

  • Monitor and respond to reporting requirements from external entities such as the U.S. Government, the Corporate Responsibility Corporate Inclusion Index, among others.

  • Perform other requested duties that support the goals and vision of the Procurement Sustainability and Diversity Program.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $68,093 to $119,473. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) or Supplier Diversity, including a thorough understanding of Supplier Diversity in the United States, US-based diversity certification classifications, etc.

  • High degree of data analysis and data processing abilities

  • Proficiency in and willingness to learn various reporting tools

  • Experience developing large databases and surveys

  • Ability to travel for internal and external events

  • Ad hoc duties as assigned

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Effective at Problem-solving, attention to detail, and critical thinking

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Knowledge or interest in DEI, Supplier Diversity, Responsible Procurement, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Supply Chain, or equivalent Knowledge.
