ICONMA, LLC Technician - Integration Engineering III – C in United States
Description: Responsibilities: Manufacture, assemble, and test New Glenn (GS1) First Stage & Second Stage structure. Setup new production work areas, including tooling and equipment. Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles. Perform second party verifications and hardware inspections to engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedures. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control. Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, flight vehicle and subassembly transportation equipment, truck-trailer combinations and other ground support equipment as required. Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including, but not limited to, torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, height gauges and optical measuring instruments. Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESD Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission and vision. Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, fields, and background Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Qualifications: 5 to 10 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing & aerospace structures (Sheetmetal) Experience in Drilling Aluminum, Composite & Titanium structures Experience in at least one of the following is required: Heavy (Primary Structures drilling experience) (Secondary Structures drilling experience) Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, understands written work instructions and test procedures. Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, fields, and backgrounds Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and in person. Basic digital literacy such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc. Climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areas. Work at Heights on work stands and in lifts. Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 35lbs. Desired: Industry certification, trade school training and/or degree in related field or (Airframe License). Proven success as a “hands-on” technical leader Work optimally with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities Continuous improvement attitude. Experience in handling large aerospace structures. Experience in assembling large tight tolerance structures. Experience in new product introduction.
