Technical Project Manager Location: Dearborn, MI/ Hybrid Duration: 12 Months Description: Position Description: Keywords: Project management, Github, Git, JFrog, Nexus, artifact, pipeline, CI / CD, devops, devsecops, Jira The Developer Tools & Enablement team is looking for a Technical Project Manager with strong project management skills to lead, manage and accelerate the following: Migration of GitHub in Client Google Cloud Platform to Github in the cloud Deployment of security tools from JFrog, artifact and security management tool Proficient knowledge and use of Backlog tools like Jira The successful candidate should work collaboratively as part of an Agile technical development team and work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will lead the planning, monitoring and status (progress reports to executive management) for the migration and deployment of new tools. Key Responsibilities of Position: Develop and maintain migration strategy, step-by-step processes, guides, and communications to ensure that the Github data is migrated accurately, securely, and efficiently Work with other members of the migration team, business customers and vendors involved in the migration project Identify and resolve, plan and communicate migration and deployment issues Backlog Refinement/Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives Skills Required: Must have excellent planning and communication skills, flexibility to accommodate working across different time zones and sensitivity to cultural and geographical differences. • Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills. Skills Preferred: The successful candidate will lead the planning, monitoring and status (progress reports to executive management) for the migration and deployment of new tools. - Linux, Python, Shell, Bash, rest API. Nice to have: Experience in the administration, configuration, development, and support of GitHub and JFrog Experience Required: - 5+ years of project management and agile/scrum experience in IT. - Exposure to Software Development methodologies and Security & Control procedures. Education Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in computer science or related disciplines.
