Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Ascension Technologies Technical Assessment (TA) is an important process aimed to ensure that all vendor technology solutions meet Ascension's architecture, infrastructure, technical, and security requirements. Technical Assessments are completed in partnership with CyberSecurity, Relationship & Demand Management (RAD), Enterprise Applications & Platforms, and The Resource Group (TRG) prior to the acquisition and introduction of new products and services into the Ascension environment.

  • Partner with multiple IT teams to complete Technical Assessments that ensure all vendor technology solutions meet Ascension architecture, technical, and security requirements.

  • Facilitate and manage various efforts related to TA compliance and daily operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Validates the vendor’s technical documentation is complete. Completes an infrastructure technical review of the product. Compiles the technical findings from the infrastructure and security reviews into a summary for stakeholders.

  • Develops a process to remediate products that are in the environment but have not completed a Technical Assessment. Project management oversight of the remediation effort including prioritization of products, coordination of resources, and leadership status reporting.

  • Partners with product owners, contracting specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure products stay compliant with the Technical Assessment process.

  • Ability to create and manage reports/dashboards in ServiceNow.

  • Familiarity and expertise in Google Sheets (pivots, formulas, reporting, etc).

  • Analyzes a chain of events and applies technical knowledge following established procedures.

  • Successfully troubleshoots most problems independently.

  • Participates in process workflow design, contributing technical insights and ideas. Helps formulate scope and objectives.

  • Works with customers to understand and explain business and technical issues, respond to user problems, explain new technologies, and present deliverables.

  • Writes process documentation for new or proposed systems. Shares knowledge effectively within the work team.

  • Ability to use and administer business applications and recommend enhancements/modifications to existing and future workflow.

Complexity of Work:

  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
