ICONMA, LLC Systems Engineer - DevOps and Cloud platform support in United States
Our Client, a Health Insurance Company, is looking for Systems Engineer - DevOps and Cloud platform support for their Remote location Responsibilities:
DevOps and Cloud platform support -
Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to support application deployments.
Support cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS), EKS Kubernetes.
50% Installs, tunes, upgrades, troubleshoots, and maintains CI/CD pipelines, performs application release deployments in Test and Production environments.
Submit change management tickets, represent on the CAB calls.
40% Write and maintain automation scripts in Python, Groovy to streamline operational processes and deployments.
Collaborate with development and testing teams to enhance system scalability, performance, and reliability.
Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows-based production environments.
Support container orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
10% Develop and implement techniques in CI/CD to prevent system problems, troubleshoots incidents to recover services and supports root cause analysis.
Support disaster recovery and audits.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in DevOps and cloud services.
Requirements
Information Technology or Computer Science
3 years software, DevOps and/or cloud systems engineering
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, especially with Jenkins using Groovy, Advanced
Understanding of container-based technologies, especially Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EKS., Proficient
Understanding of microservice concepts, Proficient
Scripting skills (Bash, Python), Advanced
Technical knowledge of AWS managed services (VPC, EC2, EKS, RDS), including monitoring and analytics tools such as AWS CloudWatch
Experience with code management systems (Git, Subversion)
Experience maintaining Java web applications (Spring Boot)
Keen communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to collaborate to solve technical problems across teams., Advanced
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal., Proficient
The incumbent is required to immediately disclose any debarment, exclusion, or other event that makes them ineligible to perform work directly or indirectly on Federal health care programs.
Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads that can be variable for long periods of time.
Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence.
Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging
