Citizenship and Immigration Services Supervisory Management and Program Analyst in United States
Summary This position is located in USCIS, Immigration Records and Identity Services, Identity and Information Management Division, Application Support Center Operations Branch. As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will direct and lead a diverse team responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing biometric and identity resolution initiatives to ensure the integrity of immigration information. Responsibilities Serve as an expert consultant in areas of responsibility, providing advice and guidance directly to the Division Chief, Deputy Division Chief, and other senior members of leadership. Responsible for conducting root cause analysis of immigration information management issues in the field and the development of plans, initiatives and solutions in line with strategic goals to address agency wide and cross governmental issues. Assign and explain work requirements to staff to achieve efficiency of services and maintain integrity of quality assurance and performance measures and to carry out specific action plans to accomplish short-term and long-term goals and objectives. Ensure effective resource planning and execution management in support of higher level strategic plans implementing methodologies to link programs and projects to organizational goals and demonstrate business value and reports on performance metrics. Develop and present oral and written reports, presentations, and briefings to senior managers/executives to describe current programs and initiatives; Lead and facilitate meetings to address issues, concerns, or resolve problems that impact services. Supervise/direct Section Chiefs, provide administrative and technical supervision to accomplish the work that affects USCIS operations, stakeholders and the public using wide range of qualitative management principles, processes and systems support. Residency Requirement: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. This residency requirement states that candidates must have, for three of the last five years immediately prior to applying for this position; (1) resided in the United States; OR (2) worked for the United States Government as an employee overseas in a Federal or Military capacity, OR (3) been a dependent of a U.S. Federal or Military employee serving overseas. Supervisory/Managerial Probationary Period: You may be required to serve a twelve-month probationary period upon appointment to this position. You may also be required to complete an appropriate supervisory training course within one year of assignment to this position. Qualifications The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 12/12/2024. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service.
