Sr. Maintenance Technician - LGV
The Sr. Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining assigned equipment in optimal condition through predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance.
Essential Functions
Responsible for minimizing downtime in equipment, making repairs and improvements in manufacturing equipment with specialization in the packaging areas.
Responsible for palletizing packages, making improvements to optimize the process.
Responsible for training operators, mechanics and supervisors in the process and technical procedures related to their area of expertise.
Work directly with management on special projects.
Define and implement high safety standards and GMP's within the plant.
Experience with Krones branded equipment.
Transfer of technology knowledge to Niagara personnel.
Development of operating procedures and failure mode of the plant equipment.
Innovation and improvements in line or process design.
Responsible for the execution of PM's in equipment under his charge.
Responsible for follow up of requested spare parts.
Ensure that food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System are maintained.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
6 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
6 Years – Experience in Position
4 Years – Experience managing people/projects

10+ Years– Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
10+ Years – Experience working in Position
6 Years – Experience managing people/projects
