Job SummaryThe Sr. Contract Administrator will be directly responsible for the contract lifecycle management (“CLM”) process on the Legal team to manage a range of agreements varying in complexity and oversee contract operations. This role calls for collaboration and partnership with stakeholders across the organization, as well as with vendors. The role will be tasked with managing contracts within the CLM software, Agiloft, finding creative solutions to big and small problems, supporting contract questions, and optimizing processes to support the business.

Representative Responsibilities

  • Manage all stages of the CLM process, including administration of the Agiloft software, database management, and reporting.

  • Responsible for ensuring that contracts move through the end-to-end review and approval process in a timely manner.

  • Provide initial review on standard contracts such as non-disclosure agreements and other standard templates.

  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and proofing of standard contract templates, training materials and knowledge management.

  • Assist with document version control, including creation of comparison files to facilitate review.

  • Using technology (i.e. AI, Gen AI) to automate manual legal work, streamline document management, and simplify data collection. Research and continuously work to improve Agiloft functionality.

  • Engage with business partners frequently to answer contract process-related questions, and provide insights and recommendations where possible.

  • Ensure all relevant information from stakeholders is incorporated into contracts and collaborate to make adjustments where needed.

  • Provide problem-solving and troubleshooting support in order to determine the best course of action, and escalating issues timely.

  • Support the development and implementation of policies, and practices and guidance for contract operations (trainings, guides and playbooks) in partnership with the Legal team.

  • Prepare special reports, e.g. weekly contract status reporting, and data analyses as required.

  • Ensure prioritization of initiatives, breaking down large projects into smaller tasks.

  • Participate in special assignments and provide ad hoc support as required.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a legal or business-related field, or equivalent years of related experience in lieu of degree

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, including but not limited to: contracts management, paralegal, or other comparable experience with an-house legal department, law firm, or government agency, with responsibility for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating the legal terms of a broad range of standard commercial contracts.

  • Previous experience with a contract lifecycle management system; Agiloft experience preferred

  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to adapt to the evolving departmental and business needs.

  • Experience working on a team balanced with a self-motivated disposition, able to thrive in an environment with autonomy.

  • Experience with project leadership

  • Excellent critical thinking and attention to detail/accuracy.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be flexible, solution oriented and adaptive to changing priorities, as well as effectively manage and resolve conflict.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and foster business relationships with cross functional teams, and internal and external partners.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to various audiences.

  • Excellent organization and planning skills, and the ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple projects at the same time.

  • Strong knowledge in MS office (specifically Excel, , PowerPoint, and Teams), , SharePoint, Smartsheet, etc.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Normal office environment. Extended periods of time sitting, standing, typing on a computer is required.

  • This position has a Remote location: Associate will have no regular requirement to be on-site. Travel on-site is limited to special events.
