Description: Role Overview (Database Programmer) Required Skills and Experience we are Looking For:
Significant experience in Microsoft SQL programming and development is a must including SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, CUBE (Star Schema)
Must have hands-on experiences in migrating from standard relational database to non-relational databases leveraging Big Data stack and alternate mechanisms like HDFS, Spark, Neo4j, Snowflake, Airflow, etc.
Must have hands-on experiences in distributed computing solutions frameworks such as OpenShift , Starburst or related.
Assess and analyze existing database architecture to identify opportunities for modernization.
Proficiency in database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
Significant experience in data normalization, denormalization, compression techniques to optimize data-size and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align database solutions accordingly.
Ensure data integrity, security, and performance in the modernized database environment.
Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of database changes.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in both traditional databases and big data.
