Our Client, an Internet Content & Information company, is looking for Software Engineer III for their Redmond, WA/ Sunnyvale, CA/ Burlingame, CA/ LA/Remote location Responsibilities:
Client focuses on delivering Client's vision through Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR).
Client Silicon team is driving the state of the art forward with breakthrough work in computer vision, machine learning, mixed reality, graphics, displays, sensors, and new ways to map the human body.
Our chips will enable AR/VR devices where our real and virtual world will mix and match throughout the day.
We are seeking a Software Engineer to support modeling and implementation of image/video compression and processing IPs.
The successful candidate will be part of a team that includes algorithm, software, architecture, digital design, digital verification, firmware, pre-silicon platforms, and emulation experts.
Develop architectural model, and map SW to HW using pre-silicon platforms.
Design and implement image/video compression and processing Ips.
Build and enhance the image/video quality assessment framework: objective and subjective evaluation.
Requirements
5+ years relevant experience.
5+ years of programming experience in C++.
Experience in image/video compression and processing.
Familiar with scripting languages such as Python.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Top 3 must-have HARD skills:
C++ programing language.
Python.
Good to have skills:
SoC modeling background.
Image and video compression.
