Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social and Content Manager to lead on of Publics’ biggest clients’ social and content marketing. This role involves ideating on, implementing, and social media strategies for several innovative brands.
· Understanding of Client business and the ability to create sticky Client relationships
· Experienced in Social, Content and creating strategic campaigns.
· Progressed and inquisitive commercial acumen & knowledge of industry-standard planning tools
· Experience and ability to manage cross-functional teams both in terms of delivery, as well as career guidance and management
· Attention to detail that is second to none
· Solutions-driven approach and out-of-the-box thinker
· A collaborative team approach and enviable time management and organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects & priorities with ease
· A curious nature with a willingness for continuous learning and fearless growth
· Strong knowledge of the Australian media landscape
Day to day in this role, you’ll get to:
Relationship Management
• Act as a trusted conduit between internal and external contacts on each project
• Develop new and productive relationships within the media industry e.g. media owners, production partners
• Ensure that Prodigious Play is seen as approachable, helpful and knowledgeable at all times, both internally and externally
• Understand the importance of working collaboratively internally, with media owners, third-party suppliers and creative agencies
• Develop key senior relationships with Clients (Marketing Manager and above)
• Be an ambassador for Play and provide specialist advice to clients where required alongside the client teams
• Meet and exceed all client expectations at all times
• Be unafraid to challenge traditional thinking and approaches, where necessary
• Understand our client’s brands and how best to articulate them in content adhering to brand guidelines
• Deliver new content opportunities to clients as required to drive their business results further
Project Management / Innovation and Experimentation
• Managing integrated campaigns end to end.
• Ensure financials and project revenue are up to date.
• Lead and manage all aspects of job reporting - Client WIP’s, Call Sheets etc
• Responsible for all legal clearance of all content production.
• Develop and design content-led solutions reactively and proactively with the team.
• Be responsible for inciting new briefs across existing and new clients.
• Test new platforms, tools, and content formats to identify growth opportunities.
• Use expertise to drive additional revenue opportunities outside of briefed projects.
Content & Expertise:
• Knowledge of all aspects of our solutions across Insights, Strategy & Consulting, Content Creative & Production, Content Partnerships and Publishing & Distribution and how they apply across all aspects of the consumer journey
• Continuous development and learning in and around the content space to advise and educate internal and external stakeholders
• Understanding of how content is integrated into a media & creative strategy
• Understanding of how brand and creative executions are developed into content-led solutions and how they deliver on a client’s business objectives
• Develop case studies at the completion of each project
• Ensure the implementation on every brief our USP Data Driven Content approach.
Collaboration and Coordination
• Build strong relationships with Team Leads, Strategy Teams, Innovation Teams and Agency Leads with the Publicis Groupe Agency brands, including key clients
• Ability to manage and develop junior team members.
• Provide agency support across client teams for content implementation and management
• Develop key senior relationships with internal and external stakeholders and Clients.
• Implement and lead our SLA and RACI model with the agency brands.
• Lead by example and build a positive working environment for the broader Prodigious Play team to ensure that you are the first point of contact for all questions and solutions.
• Assist the state leads with the management of the account team workflow and training, assigning projects based on skill set and client need.
