Bob's Discount Furniture Shipping Lead in United States
oIncluding but not limited to: Responsible for real time analysis, assisting the coordination and balance of DC Shipping operations. Assists in the balancing of man power for all areas. Assigns picking/loading tasks for all production employees. Supports the Shipping Supervisor to ensure all tasks flow smoothly for the production crew. Accurately records/reports the truck/trailer numbers for outgoing deliveries. Supports Shipping Supervisor to ensure all End of day (EOD) tasks are completed.
Job Responsibilities
oResponsible for real time analysis, coordination and balance of Shipping Operations (allocation of pick tasks).oAssigning of picking/loading tasks.oRecording and reporting of outbound deliveries.oProvides support in reporting, researching and resolving issues that occur in the interface between host system and WMS in a timely manner.oEnsure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.oProvides administrative support for the Shipping Supervisor.oDevelops and maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all needed systems.oPerforms additional duties as requested.oSupport Picking and Loading operation as needed.

Provides information and support to production staff. Required Qualifications oHigh School or equivalent experience.o5+ years of warehouse management experience.oStrong verbal/written communication and organizational skillsoSkilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.oWorking knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP and Red Prairie.oDetail oriented and accurate.oDemonstrated ability to quickly recognize and diagnose trend and patterns in productivity data.oMust be able to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department including weekends and evenings.
