Overview
As a Solutions/Pre-Sales Engineer, you will:
Design and architect innovative AI/ML solutions leveraging AWS services
Consult with clients to understand their business needs and recommend appropriate AWS technologies
Create detailed technical proposals and solution designs
Lead pre-sales activities and support the sales team in closing opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in AI, ML, and cloud technologies
Roles and Responsibilities
Solution Design and Architecture
Develop comprehensive AI/ML solution architectures on AWS
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective
Client Consultation
Conduct discovery sessions to understand client requirements
Recommend appropriate AWS services and technologies
Provide expert guidance on AI/ML best practices and implementation strategies
Pre-Sales Support
Create compelling technical proposals and presentations
Collaborate with sales teams to develop winning strategies
Conduct technical deep-dives and proof-of-concept demonstrations
Thought Leadership
Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and AWS services
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices
Represent the company at industry events and conferences
Continuous Improvement
Gather feedback from clients and internal teams to refine solution offerings
Contribute to the development of reusable assets and accelerators
Participate in AWS partner programs and certifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
8+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on GAI/ML in the software or Internet industries experience
Deep expertise in AWS AI/ML services (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker, Comprehend, Rekognition)
Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience in pre-sales and technical consulting with large clients
AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Machine Learning Specialty) preferred
Language skills: German and English, native or C1-level
