Senior Structural Engineer
POWER Engineers seeks an energetic and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. Ideally would like the candidate to be near our Boise, ID, Minneapolis, MN, Madison, WI or Overland Park, KS offices.
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the continual growth and success of your team. We are looking for an individual that knows what it means to be a leader, not just a manager. You will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid office environment and freedom and independence to grow your team and meet the needs of our clients while having the support and backing of a large, successful company.
You and your team will be asked to help design new modern manufacturing facilities, as well as providing design of industrial equipment supports, steel pipe rack design, and access platforms for clients in the renewable energy, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. We aim to exceed our client’s expectations while providing a positive experience for our employees and communities.

Here are a few things you can expect
A major component of our design process relies on Building Information Modeling (BIM). In particular, the use of Autodesk Revit Structural is one of the integrated collaboration tools used in communicating 3-D design to our project teams, owners, and construction professionals.
There is a lot of latitude for decision-making; we’re not interested in micromanaging.
We expect everyone on the team to assume ownership of the project's goals and success.
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree with a Structural emphasis
10+ years of experience
Ability to perform work requiring independent judgment, and adaptation/modification of engineering principles
PE License required
Competent in concrete, structural steel, and foundation design
Must have Finite element analysis experience, RISA 3D
Ability to manage small projects with little oversight
Desired Education/Experience
Experience with Navisworks
Experience with Revit
Deep Foundation design
