What you need to know

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

  • Four years of related professional experience.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with appropriate laboratory and/or technical equipment.

  • Ability to effectively utilize a computer and applicable software to create databases, perform statistical analyses, present data, and perform other computer related tasks.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

    Essential Duties/Tasks:

  • Research Design and Planning - Develop and design experiments, including selecting appropriate methodologies and techniques. Plan and coordinate research activities, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulations. Collaborate with team members and principal investigators to establish research objectives and timelines.

  • Data Collection and Analysis - Conduct experiments, collect data, and ensure its accuracy and reliability. Analyze and interpret data using statistical tools and software. Maintain detailed records of research activities, procedures, and results.

  • Laboratory Management - Oversee the maintenance and organization of laboratory equipment and supplies. Ensure the laboratory adheres to health and safety regulations. Implement and update standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Ethics and Compliance - Ensure all research activities comply with ethical standards and institutional policies. Obtain necessary approvals from ethics committees and regulatory bodies. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of research data and subjects.
