    Job Description

This role will provide leadership across the HR organization to drive organizational effectiveness and superior service in support of our company's mission and vision. This role will provide oversight to all aspects of HR operations and ensures HR systems and technologies effectively support and further the HR strategy, among other duties. This role is responsible for defining a vision for HR Operations and shared services, building core processes, and overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR systems including, the specification, development, and implementation of new or updated systems, reports and policies and procedures for internal use with a focus on continuous improvement. Additionally, this role will have responsibility to all phases of HR system design & functionality, data management, reporting, and other operations for the company's HR systems landscape including, people data, metrics, reporting and analytics.

• Responsible for HR service delivery and driving improvements, to provide efficient, effective, and compliant HR services

• Responsible for HR Systems and related system operations, ensuring data integrity, reporting, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities

• Optimizes HR systems to meet workforce requirements creating opportunities for automation, reduction of manual processes, and simple, compliant processes

• Leverages metrics/analytics to evaluate and identify HR process improvements and opportunities.

• Sets the overall direction for HR systems in collaboration with IT. Directs the HR information strategy by consulting with human resources, executives, finance and other management to understand organizational needs for human resources related information and payroll.

• Develops and manages the HRIS and Payroll teams.

• Manages the implementation of new functionality and business process improvements including determining requirements gathering, testing, roll-out, and end user training and adoption working in collaboration with IT. This includes creation and oversight of change management plans (covering communication, sponsorship and education).

• Drives efforts to determine best HR system options for the organization, works through RFPs, and leads system implementation / migration / integration efforts in collaboration with IT.

• Manages vendors for HR technology, including monitoring internal (HRIS) and external (vendor) service levels, invoicing and regular business reviews.

• Supports the creation and deployment of HR shared services strategy.

• Establishes/reviews protocols and tiered escalation, ensures response to issues and requests from employees.

• Collaborates with other functional leaders and business partners to assure programs, policies and initiatives are developed and delivered.

• HR budget development and oversight, as well as analysis of HR spend.

• Leads special HR projects as necessary.

• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements

• BA/BS degree in related field

• Certification (HRIS, Project Management Professional [PMP], Six Sigma)

• Proven management skills and the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of professionals capable of achieving aggressive business goals and objectives

•ADP experience required

• 8+ years of progressive growth supporting HRIS solutions and HRIS implementations (on a global scale), business process improvements and development of a self-service culture

• 6+ years leading HRIS functional support teams

• 4+ years leading HR transactional support teams

• Experience managing HR compliance programs

• Knowledge of SOX, privacy and other compliance protocols

• Strong experience with data, metrics and reporting using Microsoft Excel

• Demonstrated project management skills

• Systems implementation experience a must

• Experience preparing and presenting summary information and proposals to senior leadership

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills, strategic focus, and service-oriented disposition
