Overview

Senior Engineer (5 openings)

Maintain and operate LTE and 5G test systems to meet requirements laid out by U.S. carriers and other regulatory/industry bodies. Resolve failures by working with test system manufacturers. Monitor certification regime database for change requests related to test systems. Install new system software or equipment firmware versions.

Responsibilities

Maintain test system information in the company’s proprietary database. Perform conformance and debug testing. Perform Cellular Customer Acceptance testing and LTE/5G modem testing. Act as point of contact for LTE/5G questions and technical issues related to device testing. Provide expert opinion and interpretation for test projects. Act as a subject matter expert in assigned technology and test area. Train test technicians and engineers and monitor their proficiency. Prepare and maintain technical documentation for test system maintenance and operation. Improve testing processes and testing efficiency. Part-time telecommuting permitted.

Skills / Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or the foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible postgraduate experience in a Quality Assurance and Testing occupation.

The required experience must include:

  • 3 years of experience with Verification and Validation of device testing

  • 3 years of experience with Log Analysis related to LTE/5G Call Flow.

  • 2 years of experience with issue creation, tracking, and updates.

  • 2 years of experience working with Protocol Network Analyzers.

  • 2 years of experience with log analysis tools, such as QXDM.

  • 2 years of experience as technical point of contact with customer for LTE/5G project.

  • 3 years of experience performing system maintenance.
