Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Operations Engineer to lead our infrastructure and operations initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our DevOps strategies, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security of our systems.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of our DevOps architecture and processes

• Architect and manage complex CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments

• Design and optimize cloud infrastructure (multi-cloud expertise preferred)

• Lead automation efforts for deployment, scaling, and management of systems

• Implement advanced monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions

• Guide junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Drive continuous improvement in system reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans

• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve our DevOps practices

  Education and Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles

• Expert-level knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration

• Advanced proficiency in scripting and programming (e.g., Python, Go, Bash)

• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their native services

• Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)

• Advanced knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

• Deep understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments

• Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale, distributed systems

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Multiple cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Experience with serverless architectures

• Knowledge of AI/ML ops and big data technologies

• Familiarity with Finance Operations practices

• Contributions to open-source projects or speaking at technology conferences

  Physical Job Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Constantly communicates with employees and leaders, both verbally and in writing.

  Reports To: eCommerce Software Development Senior Manager

  Environment: Work environment is typically an office environment located on-site during normal or extended business hours.
