Job Title: Senior Cyber Security Analyst

Location :Hybrid Role 3 days a week in Austin Texas office

Overview:

The Senior Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for providing comprehensive

cyber security support to the assigned business unit. The Analyst will offer

consultancy, review and assess risks in various projects and initiatives, conduct

thorough risk assessments, and manage cyber issues and risks effectively. Strong

working experience in the AWS cloud environment and a solid understanding in

securing microservices, including APIs and Lambdas, is essential. The ideal

candidate will have a robust understanding of security and privacy principles and be

well-versed in regulatory and compliance requirements affecting the business.

Key Responsibilities:

● Support and maintain the company’s Cyber Security Program by developing,

implementing, and maintaining cyber security controls, standards, guidelines,

and processes to ensure compliance is maintained and risk is managed

effectively.

● Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure proper due diligence

is done to identify and address cyber security issues. Engage Cyber Security

services to ensure comprehensive coverage of security measures.

● Review Cloud security and third-party recommendations and work with the

business unit, IT, and infrastructure teams to address cyber issues.

● Track and follow up on technology and cyber-related audit findings and

actions.

● Provide strong coordination and follow-up on business/IT requests, cyber

issue remediation, and verification of controls implemented.

● Conduct risk assessments and report on enterprise-wide and third-party

security controls, identifying, tracking, and managing cyber issues and risks

for the business unit, and maintaining the cyber security risk register.

● Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with

PCI DSS, Privacy (CCPA, GDPR), and other regulatory requirements.

● Support the management of audits, external assessments, and assurance

processes, including PCI DSS and NIST CSF. Conduct compliance readiness

assessments and assurance activities against policies, standards, and

requirements.

● Support the implementation of key security initiatives across the organisation,

developing measurable cyber security standards that align with policy control

objectives, and supporting user and specialist user education and awareness

exercises for employees.

● Develop and manage meaningful metrics to measure and track cyber risks,

ensuring the effectiveness of the governance of the cyber security function,

and assisting in the development of effective measurement and simplified

reporting of cyber security risks within the business.

● Assist with the development of measurable cyber security standards that align

with policy control objectives.

Qualifications:

● 5+ years of experience within Cyber Security function.

● Demonstrated experience in conducting cyber risk assessments and

recommending remediation measures.

● Previous experience in cloud security, network security, and application

security in a complex environment is desirable.

● Strong knowledge and experience with Industry Frameworks and Standards

such as NIST CSF, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.

● Strong working knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, especially AWS, and

microservices (API/Lambda).

● Strong oral and written communication skills.

● Strong project management and coordination skills.

● Qualification in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or

similar.

● Professional security certifications such as Certified Information Systems

Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager

(CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and

Information Systems Control (CRISC), or similar are preferred.

Pay Range: 80,000 - 110,000
