As a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that influence strategic decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with Franchise leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful analyses that drive revenue and operational efficiency and support our mission of delivering innovative Clinical diagnostics solutions for infectious diseases.

Primary Duties:

  • Communicate Insights Clearly: Present data in visually compelling formats, ensuring complex insights are accessible and understandable for all stakeholders.

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret large, complex data sets from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and relevance for business insights in the IVD industry.

  • Strategic Insights: Perform advanced data mining, trend analysis, and predictive modeling to uncover insights that inform product development, market strategies, and operational improvements. Suggest ad-hoc acquisition of dataset to address business needs.

  • Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated BI dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms, presenting insights in a clear, compelling manner.

  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with stakeholders across marketing, finance, commercial operations, regulatory affairs, and Customer/Market Insights to understand their needs and provide data-driven recommendations that align with business objectives.

  • KPI Development: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and operational performance, ensuring alignment with company goals.

  • Data Governance: Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards, implementing best practices for data management and reporting.

  • Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and team members, fostering a culture of data literacy and empowering others to leverage BI tools effectively.

  • Project Leadership: Lead BI projects from conception to execution, collaborating with IT and other departments to implement robust data solutions and reporting mechanisms.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field required.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar analytical role.

  • Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and Excel.

  • Experience working with multimodal large data sets in healthcare industry.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights. strong understanding of healthcare industry-specific metrics and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate business questions into data-related questions and effectively articulate data-driven answers to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and Excel.

  • Experience with some of the following and ability to learn the others upon hire: CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), SAP environment.

  • Experience with Healthcare Data Bases such as DHC, Komodo, IQVIA

  • Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and statistical methodologies.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
