GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Come join the Treasurer’s Office in a dynamic accounting environment where you will have the opportunity to build your skills. We don’t really learn how to account for investments in school, especially with a government twist, but our team will teach you how to apply your core accounting knowledge and experience to our business. This Office is responsible for the investment of over $30 billion in state assets! Our diverse team accounts for it all. This position will be housed in the Reconciliation and Audit Unit within the Financial Accounting Division. Cheyenne Wyoming is a beautiful place to live and thrive, and we offer hybrid telework. We are within 30 minutes of spectacular mountains where you can hike, fish, canoe, and camp. Not to mention, Denver Colorado is only 100 miles away if you need a dose of big-city amenities. Come put your talents to work for the benefit of Wyoming citizens and generations to come.
