Description

The University of Rochester Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is actively recruiting for an experienced funded research doctorate. This position offers the opportunity to interface with and provide leadership with the research division of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation on a multitude of projects that span the full spectrum of PM&R. There is an opportunity to interface collaboratively with the Departments of Orthopaedics Center for Musculoskeletal Research and motion labs as well as our outpatient neuro-PM&R faculty practice and physical/occupational therapy programs.

This position comes with a primary faculty appointment in the Department of PM&R and at the University of Rochester School of Medicine.

Qualifications

  • PhD in related field (i.e. clinical research)

  • Experience pursuing grants and managing funding

  • Previous research in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

  • Interest in teaching/mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
