We are recruiting a HVAC Project Engineer to join our Project Management Office , in Stefanesti.

About this role: As a Project Engineer, you will report to the Project Delivery Manager and join our Project Delivery team, focusing on short- and long-term rental solutions for our Temperature Control Fleet (Chillers, Boilers, HVAC equipment). Your role will involve developing solutions and projects for customers, assisting with site design, and delivering improved product designs.

What you’ll do:

• Works closely with local Sales & Logistic departments and Group Engineering department to ensure that project application design is accurate and fit for purpose according to customer requirements.

• Ensures the adherence of all project designs to the relevant quality, safety, environmental and legal standards;

• Develop and provide technical HVAC solutions for customers, including budgeting and quotes.

• Assist in site design in accordance with Aggreko installation and commissioning standards.

• Implement modifications to product design as per agreed specifications and document changes.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the duration of the project, managing all aspects of project delivery.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

• Advise Sales team on project specific design issues and propose engineering solutions;

• Gives engineering assistance as required to Operational Projects;

• Capture projects lessons learned to contribute to Operations excellence;

• By example, set the highest possible standards in promotion of HS&E culture, ensuring compliance with Aggreko QHSE policy;

• Participate to regional initiatives and technical capabilities improvement to assist with achieving business targets;

• Support Aggreko sector specialization approach by contributing to sectors regulatory watch and technical/technological transformation mapping.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

• Mandatory - University graduate in technical studies: Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination and HVAC designs;

• Strong technical background in HVAC, Chillers, boilers;

• Experience in the use of specific tools (eg AUTOCAD, etc);

• Ability to perform in a demanding and fast-pacing environment with a proven track record of working under pressure without close supervision;

• Ability to lead small projects delivery with cross-functional teams and within matrix organization;

• English - intermediate level (written and spoken);

• Driving license - category B - mandatory requirement (25% field activity).

• Willing to travel on request (in the country / abroad) - the role requires field activity - approx.. 25%

  Kindly note that we accept applications coming only from within Romania, as the role holder must have a deep understanding of the local Regulatory Authority. However, Intermediate English (both written and spoken) is a mandatory requirement, as we are operating in a multinational environment.
