CMS is currently looking for a Procurement Administrator
Complete account credit applications
COI, Rep, and certs, renewals
Coordinate with recruiting and hiring managers to determine appropriate naming convention for name plates, new hire welcoming package, business cards, and order these items.
Facilitate office birthday celebrations by coordinating date, location, food options, and anniversary recognition.
Order and maintain office supplies and snacks.
Process facility invoices
New vendor set up and pre-qualification
Process shipping request
Evaluate purchase requests for purchase/lease of services, commodities, and equipment to determine subcontract vs. purchase order
Accurately document all transactions in the automated purchasing system and purchase order/subcontract file
Handle lease/rental contracts, renewals, and terminations
Interface with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies, delivery, and quality requirements with vendor
Interface with Project Managers and Engineering as needed
Assist in seeking sources for materials, supplies, and services upon request
Meet with sales and vendor representatives as required
Ensure company subcontracting policies and procedures are followed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Strong communication skills (written/verbal).
Strong sense of urgency with excellent customer service mentality.
Strong organizational skills to effectively manage time and resources in the most efficient manner.
Strong interpersonal skills (analytical).
Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Financial software
Extremely Detail Oriented
Ability to work independently
Education and Experience
An associate’s degree and two or more years of construction job related experience, or
A High School diploma and five or more years of related experience.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the Sr. Procurement Manager
This position does not have direct reports
