About This Role
CAE, the worldwide leader in aviation training is looking for a Technical/Maintenance Instructor to join our Phenom team in Dallas, TX.
This position requires 50% global travel.
If you are an Aircraft Mechanic, Avionics Technician or Maintenance Instructor with 3 - 5 experience and are looking for a new opportunity where you help support our business aviation maintenance instruction team, this role could be for you!
The Maintenance Training Instructor works as part of a team dedicated to providing aircraft maintenance training on products manufactured by the biggest OEM's in the world. Use extensive aviation maintenance experience, technical training experience, and varied computer skills (text & graphics), to develop, deliver, and maintain multi-media and computer-assisted courseware packages. This position is customer-facing and is focused on identifying and supporting customers’ needs and requests. Provides training to the customers at varied locations and manages and resolves a broad range of issues in an autonomous manner. Delivers aircraft system training in areas of expertise using a variety of instructional training aids in the classroom environment including the use of multimedia presentations (videos, slides, Power Point), aircraft components and aircraft simulators.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years experience working on Commercial or Business aircraft is required.
Working knowledge of mechanical or avionics aircraft systems related to area of responsibility.
Ability to resolve customer instructional issues autonomously.
Working knowledge in a variety of basic computer software programs, (Windows Suite, PowerPoint, MS Word,) to develop, revise and deliver training material and presentations.
A&P License is required.
Prior instructional experience is required.
Working experience on Phenom platform is a plus but not required.
