Duties and Responsibilities

The Technical Services Specialist will fulfill various jobs and responsibilities in support of IMRI’s Sales and Service Delivery teams and will be serving as presales technical support, consultative specialist, and architecting solutions within assigned technology focus to respond to the dynamic and varied environments and needs of IMRI’s customer base. The Technical Services Specialist will:

· Provide technical consulting and support services for the FireMon solution suite and other technologies as assigned in support of IMRI’s Business Development and Service Delivery teams.

· Perform implementation services in accordance with the level of Implementation Services purchased by Customer.

· Assist customers with successful product adoption, product operational readiness, troubleshooting issues related to the Software and maximizing use case value.

· Provide educational training on IMRI offered products and solutions.

· Conduct/present Proof of Concepts at customer locations

· Provide technical input/expertise to support proposal development activities

· Support IMRI’s Sales team in a Pre-Sales Capacity providing technical direction and business guidance to assist the team in meeting sales goals.

· Work in partnership with teams to implement specific industry and account penetration strategies and produce account specific product and sales enablement plans.

· Support IMRI’s Service Delivery Team in the design, planning, implementation and training on IMRI’s technical service offerings.

· Act as technical specialist and provide consultative support for partners and customers on IMRI Solutions to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IMRI’s solutions will meet the their technology and business requirements and deliver value.

· Present at trade shows, seminars, and oversee internal demonstration facilities, etc.

· Prepare and deliver technical and sales presentations to all levels of management

· Work with IMRI marketing team to create and produce technical content that is published to IMRI social media sites and networks.

· All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Strong technical skills in information technology with a minimum of 7 years of related technical experience in cybersecurity, networking, telecommunications, IT operations, etc.) – federal government expertise is desirable.

· Expert level technical knowledge and expertise with the FireMon solution suite

· Experience with implementation, operations and management of legacy and next generation firewalls and routed infrastructure.

· Ability to understand/analyze customer requirements, position IMRI solutions appropriately, and advise on optimal technology strategies to achieve business results.

· Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting and problem resolution in a network environment

· Ability to effectively demonstrate IMRI offered products and solutions

· Good interpersonal and client-handling skills, with the ability to explain technical detail and manage customer expectations in order to maintain satisfied customers

· Excellent inter-personal, technical presentation communication and proven team player

· Ability and willingness to travel up to 60%

Education and Experience:

· Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience preferred.

· 7+ years of information technology experience with a minimum of 2 years working in a consultative capacity.
