New York University PART TIME NON-EXEMPT ASSOCIATE RESEARCH SCIENTIST in United States
A part-time associate research scientist position is available in the Center for Quantum Information Physics under the direction of Professor Javad Shabani in the Department of Physics at New York University. The position will be 18 hours per week. This project probes the physics of superconducting-semiconducting Josephson junctions for quantum computing applications. This project takes a new path to create and manipulate quantum states at single microwave photon level. The goal is to understand the proximity-induced superconductivity and coherence times of these systems .
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $18.00/hr - $26.00/hr. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
