ICONMA, LLC Mechanical Technician - Level III in United States

One of our Engine manufacturing client is looking for Technician with PLC and troubleshooting/diagnostic experience. Mechanical Technician - Level III Location: Whitakers, NC Duration: 6-7 months with possible contract to hire Description: Must Haves: Welding Experience with Chains/Rollers Replacing/Rebuilding Drives, Pumps/Motors Drive/Initiative Willing to learn/hands on Education: College degree or technical equivalent required. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience. Fully capable Electrician - to be able to demonstrate all skills as per skill matrix. Make necessary/required repairs with a focus on RTFT (Right the First Time) and demonstrate quality workmanship Provide detailed, clear and accurate data via Maximo i.e. downtime, information, labor etc.. Play active role in defined maintenance processes and contribute to make it better (Ex- PM review/Revision etc.) Actively auditing in skill assessment for self and others to identify skills gaps and implement improvement plans (able to say "I don't know that skill" and "here is how I plan to get it"). Qualifications - Internal To be successful in this role you will need the following: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrical or mechanical troubleshooting 2 Year degree or secondary education in the mechanical or electrical field or a combination of education and experience. Experience in performing mechanical and electrical tasks on manufacturing equipment. Knowledge of preventative maintenance Education, Licenses, Certifications High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience. Education and formal training beyond high school diploma is not required but there is a requirement that the applicant must join our apprenticeship program and go to school. Mechanical technician will be responsible for PMs, maintaining and repairing equipment that range from the latest in technology to legacy equipment with some project and new installation Activities, welding, utilizing measurement tools, perform equipment alignment, disassemble, and rebuild pumps, cylinders and be very familiar with hand tools and safe usage Operate within a team-based work environment that provides ample support for training, skill sharing and acquisition for your development Operates in a multi-craft capacity, performs mechanical and minor electrical work Willingness to learn PLC logic and robotics if skillset has not already been acquired Strong initiative and drive to grow in knowledge and demonstrate mastery of your profession To be successful in this role you will need the following: Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
