GSE mechanic performs a variety of repairs and services to maintain powered and non-powered ground equipment
Servicing various aircraft entry stands, nitrogen and oxygen carts, aircraft jacks of all styles, utility trailers, hoists, weapons dollies, coolant servicing cars, vacuum testers, fuel bowsers and barrels, hydraulic fluid servicing carts, etc
Able to read, understand, interpret and follow blueprints, drawings technical orders, and work cards
Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
Able to clearly document maintenance and repair actions accordingly
Ability to set up and operate a variety of hand and power tools
Coordinate with supervisor and supply department on purchasing required parts
Preferred 3 plus years of mechanical experience
Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
Must be comfortable climbing ladders up to 20 feet (supported)
Must maintain a valid driver's license
High School Diploma or GED required
