You will help drive the near-term and long-term strategic direction of Wipfli, as you lead our team of consultants and analysts through client projects.Our Managers will have an ownership mentality, and a wish to take on ever-increasing, rewarding, yet challenging, set of responsibilities. The ideal candidate operates with independence, can understand business problems, and develop actionable recommendations, and enjoys digging into data to analyze issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of operational, strategic, market study and data management consulting engagements.

  • Use data-driven problem analysis tools to drive action and develop recommendations.

  • Sustain and grow current client business and take a proactive approach to new business development.

  • Assess issues impacting client performance and strategic execution.

  • Support ownership with strategic direction including but not limited developing, deploying, executing, measuring and course correction of Wipfli and our clients.

  • Effective Participation in Executive Steering Committee (ESC) meetings with ownership and finance.

  • Conduct on-site assessments and strategic sessions to manage clients to success.

  • Travel to client sites, up to 50%.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Business Management.

  • 7- 10 years experience in manufacturing operations and/or strategic consultant capacity.

  • Experience with traditional lean manufacturing tools, including Value Stream Mapping, Quick Changeover, Standard Work, etc. a plus.

  • Excellent research and presentation skills.

  • Comfort managing up and down, mentoring, and coaching associates and clients.

  • Leadership skills and proven interpersonal presence.

  • Ability to extract information, quickly assess a situation and develop critical and creative problem-solving techniques.

  • Self-starter and manager of their own schedule and initiative to take on responsibility.

    Wipfli supports equal pay for equal work and values each candidate’s unique experiences and skill sets. The estimated pay range for this position is: $107,000 to $177,000. Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.Wipfli cares about our associates and offers a variety of benefits to support their well-being.
