Role Summary:
As the Manager of Business Process Improvements, Fraud, you will be responsible for leading the charge in identifying innovative methods to detect and capture e-commerce fraud and abusive behavior trends at network level. Utilizing data science and analytical frameworks, you will address complex challenges in the dynamic field of e-commerce fraud and abuse. Your strategies will be implemented into real-time decisioning systems, working closely with a team of analysts, data scientists, product managers, and software engineers. You will leverage a diverse array of systems, tools, and algorithms to evaluate data quality and develop efficient analytical workflows.
Responsibilities:
Assess current fraud detection and prevention processes at the Radial network level to identify areas for improvement.
Create and implement network-level fraud strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of fraud prevention.
Develop and implement fraud and abuse prevention strategies for new clients and emerging payment methods with existing clients.
Continuously monitor the performance of implemented changes and make necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align process improvement initiatives with departmental goals.
Document newly developed processes and best practices and provide training and support to team members on these new processes and best practices.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in leveraging analytics to inform decision-making and enhance business processes within risk management, with over 5 years of hands-on experience in the field.
Strong knowledge of data science framework and workflows.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and SQL. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to present insights at industry conferences.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Deep knowledge of e-commerce, payment and fraud prevention systems is a plus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM fields, Economics, MBA or a related field.
