Responsibilities Manages and tracks the Azure cost management reports, the IT Infrastructure investment planning Blue Book, and reports on the Part 3 IT Infrastructure investments. Monitors progress and reports on performance metrics and tracks enterprise infrastructure initiatives. Applies knowledge of analytical skills to provide management analysis, assessment, and evaluations of the Bureau’s progress in meeting Portfolio and project management requirements. Performs special projects supporting Cloud Services. Develops and presents both periodic and ad hoc information briefings to operational and management personnel on various subject matters pertaining to cost management, infrastructure investments, performance metrics, etc. Analyzes management information requirements to develop process improvement including data gathering and analytical techniques, systems evaluation methodology, identifies and develops data required for use in the management and direction of programs. Advises management on a variety of opportunities and options to increase organizational effectiveness. For GS-12: You must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 level that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity. Specialized experience is defined as 1) Planning, executing, and delivering project assignments or related work. 2) Managing projects including methods, metrics, tools, and techniques in project related work.3) Developing project management plans, strategies and approaches. 4) Managing resources through the FAR process and coordinating a diverse team of federal resources. 5) Providing advice regarding project management methods and governance models. For GS-13: You must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 level that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity. Specialized experience is defined as:1) Designing, conducting, and preparing cost, metric and analysis reports on new and existing initiatives, and recommend effective operations consistent with overall IT portfolio and program objectives. 2) Facilitate and coordinate the execution of IT acquisition procedures for infrastructure, end-user computing and cloud services. 3) Analyzing requirements, work processes and evaluating the effectiveness of current applications, identify future automation needs, and implement process improvements. 4) Leading multiple projects including developing plans, schedules coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating.
