Job Summary:

The Raymond James Identity and Access Management (IAM) team is looking for a talented and experienced security engineer to join our dynamic and growing engineering team. The team is a global organization based out of St. Petersburg, Florida which engineers and manages various industry-leading identity management systems. This role is perfect for a security engineer with experience in any identity access management system, but is passionate in other IAM disciplines and looking to gain experience and attack new challenges. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works primarily within SSO/User Authentication and must possess deep background and experience in this domain.

  • Supports other IAM technologies as necessary.

  • Analyzes system requirements, including identifying interactions and appropriate interfaces between affected components and sub systems.

  • Proactively plans capacity of platforms and applications.

  • Participates in software system testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation.

  • May participate in projects including preparing project plans, assigning tasks, monitoring statuses, coordinating efforts, validating team recommendations, integrating efforts into a comprehensive strategy and delivering results on time.

  • Writes and/or reviews system specifications, including output requirements, flow charts and technical diagrams

  • Incumbents may be required to work a non-traditional schedule including on-call hours on a frequent or rotating basis.

Qualifications

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

o Strong Experience with SiteMinder, Ping, or Okta

o Authentication services and standards around SSO

o Experience with RSA SecureID and Active Directory

o Experience troubleshooting federation and authentication issues

o Experience onboarding applications to SSO processes

o Security best practices for Windows-based and Linux-based systems including authentication principles and components.

o Microsoft Active Directory architecture.

o System monitoring and event analysis.

o Windows Server and Workstation Operating Systems.

  • Work a non-standard shift including nights and/or weekends and/or have on-call responsibilities.

Education/Previous Experience:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree; 5 plus years of relevant experience. May have one or more technical or business-related certifications.
