MKS Instruments Inc Jr. Material Analyst in United States

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Jr. Material Analyst , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of our inventory levels. This unique position will see you working closely with the Master Scheduler to implement time-saving strategies and oversee our supplies, making a significant impact on our operations.

You Will Make an Impact by:

  • Collecting data from multiple sources, including MRP, regional planner, sales, and marketing.

  • Create and maintain a master part number list.

  • Material maintenance in MRP systems.

  • Weekly Reporting

  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials & maintain Inventory by suggesting rebalancing and proactively reviewing orders.

Skills that You Bring:

  • 1-3 Years’ Experience Preferred.

  • Associated degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Good with data sets and Excel.

  • Must be able to develop and draft process documents for internal business practices.

  • Basic understanding of supply chain best practices.

  • Strong communication skills and logical and analytical talent are essential.

  • Willingness to learn.

  • Ability to grasp new technologies and experience in an ERP system.

  • High-level multi-tasking.

  • Creative problem-solving.

  • Good written and spoken English.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SAP and Oracle integrated materials/production systems (MRP).

  • Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.

  • Lower stock outs.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficient in the use of ERP/MRP Systems, SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Office.
