The Role: The Inventory Coordinator Lead is responsible for inventory accuracy, timeliness of inventory transactions and movement.

Essential Functions:

  • Transactions to maintain inventory accuracy within computer system

  • Keep work area clean and organized

  • Follow ISO and SOX standards

  • Cross train on Material Handler functions, back up team as needed

  • Monitor and order non-inventory material multi-use location for production

  • Communicate and follow up with Suppliers as needed for multi-use items

  • Process debit memos and prepares inventory for shipment

  • Coordinate outside services by transacting and preparing inventory for shipment

  • Transact warranty items into MRB location for disposition

  • Run daily and weekly reports to review/resolve material variances

  • Review engineering changes for inventory impact

  • Coordinate new material locations in manufacturing and ERP system

  • Maintain color bin system and labeling and follow FIFO stocking process

  • Cycle counting, reconciling, corrective action and reporting

  • Run monthly Cycle Count Entry and Adjustment report for physical inventory accuracy

  • Inputting information into Oracle ERP system per the cycle count process

  • Collaborate and support other members of Operations including, Operators, Procurement, Material Handlers, and Shipping/Receiving

  • Coordinate/Execute excess and obsolete inventory transactions/physical moves as directed

  • Provide training and on-going support to manufacturing team members as it relates to inventory management

  • Occasional travel to offsite warehouse to coordinate operations projects

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems, Oracle MRP system or similar is helpful, and inventory practices

  • Analyze data from various sources

  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the company

  • Communication and interpersonal skills

  • Basic math skills

  • Ability to use computers and software in a variety of functions including keyboarding, word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail

  • Organizational skills, work with minimal guidance on daily tasks

  • Willingness to provide support for other areas as necessary

  • Work within dynamic environment with customer delivery pressure

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended period of time

  • Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the cells and facility

  • Physically transferring materials 20% of job, remaining is transaction based within ERP system

  • General production/assembly environment

  • Flexible forty-hour week with moderate overtime demand

Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. Salary range:

$45,500.00 - $72,500.00
