HR Optimization Director - Regional Manager
The Director, HR Optimization working closely with Senior Leadership, leads the development and execution of the HR Optimization Roadmap establishing the direction and priorities for HR process optimization, policy enhancement and standardization, and the implementation and utilization of HR technologies. This role will provide oversight to the Analysts and HR Operations teams, ensuring the establishment and efficient execution of common processes across all of HR, effective data management and governance, and ongoing focus on continuous improvement for core HR processes. This team will work directly with all HR functional leaders to ensure individual functional needs continue to be met, and processes remain streamlined across the entire HR continuum.
Role & Responsibilities
Develops and leads implementation of HR Optimization Roadmap
Manages HR Technology portfolio while staying abreast of best practices and HR technology trends
Ensures infrastructure and procedures are in place to document, maintain, and optimize HR core processes – drives continuous improvement activities
Partners with other Operations functional areas (i.e. IT, Finance, Legal) to ensure alignment of resources and priorities
Explores current and future innovative technologies to identify opportunities to increase the effectiveness of HR through automation or streamlined technologies
Serves as Executive Sponsor for key technology implementations for all HR areas
Manages a team of Analysts and HR Professionals to accomplish objectives
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related degree required, with an MBA highly desirable
Minimum of 7 years working in an HR or technology leadership role, where general understanding of processes and technology has been gained
Must have strong business and technology acumen to be able to monitor internal and external trends and prioritize internal investment of time and budget
Experience working with HR Technologies, and Power BI or other analytic tools
Requires exceptional collaboration and influencing skills
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present complex technical and non-technical information to all levels of the organization
Must have a passion and understanding around how automation, technology, and streamlined workflows contribute to stronger business outcomes
