Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct molecular biology experiments, including real-time PCR and Western blot analysis, to assess gene expression and protein levels.
Perform cell culture experiments, including maintaining and manipulating various cell lines.
Assist with animal research, including mouse handling, genotyping, and dissections (preferred but not required).
Analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare figures, and assist with manuscript preparation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date lab records.
Participate in lab meetings, present research findings, and collaborate with other lab members.
Required Qualifications:
Master student in Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related field.
Experience with molecular biology techniques, specifically real-time PCR and Western blotting.
Proficiency in mammalian cell culture techniques.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with mouse handling, genotyping, and manipulation.
Prior research experience in a molecular nutrition, developmental biology, or related lab setting.
