What You’ll Be Doing

The Global HR Shared Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and leading a team of employees that execute the day-to-day operations for the Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) organization that provides support to all Percepta employees globally. This role will ensure the team delivers exceptional Human Resources (HR) support services for a multi-national organization. The supervisor will be expected to guide the team providing administrative support for the entire life cycle of an employee while identifying process improvements and executing a strategy to improve the employee experience across HR programs. In addition, the Global Shared Services Supervisor will develop and coach their team and identify partnerships and connections across all global HR communities as well as with other key stakeholders.

During a Typical Day, You’ll

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HRSS team ensuring accurate information on all employees is available for use by HR or managers as needed.

  • Manage key processes and/or new projects, coordinating with multiple teams to ensure data accuracy, communication, alignment, and learning opportunities on changes to educate HRSS team.

  • Manage the documentation and maintenance of country-specific HR guidelines and applicable policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with all global legal and regulatory requirements related to shared services operations.

  • Continuously seek, suggest, and partner with the HR Systems team to assist with systems understanding and process improvements for Oracle.

  • Manage the HRSS knowledge base content and develop reference tools to provide thorough training to ensure the team’s readiness to respond to inquiries accurately.

  • Provide recommendations on ways HR can refine processes to build efficiency and improve the employee experience through partnering across global HR and other stakeholders as required.

  • Provide leadership to direct reports, creating a culture of accountability and development to drive continuous improvement in the team’s performance.

  • Coach and mentor direct reports identifying gaps in skill set or knowledge and development of action plan to resolve.

  • Promote positive, supportive, and diplomatic relations with all vendors, employees, and management staff.

  • Make recommendations for hires or needed corrective actions; write and conduct annual performance reviews.

What You Bring to the Role

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in HR and/or HRSS, with at least 3 years in a leadership role with direct reports.

  • Experience working in a global organization is preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.

  • Proven track record in driving process improvements and automation initiatives.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to shared services operations in a multi-national organization.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including use of analytical and data manipulation skills in Excel.

  • Ability to coach and develop team members.

  • Organizational skills and flexibility for changing priorities ensuring a strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize heavy workload and manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills – both written and oral.

  • Complex problem-solving skills – identification, analysis, evaluation of options, and implementation.

  • Critical thinking skills – using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses.

  • Proven ability to build relationships and work in a team as well as an independent environment with various levels in the organization.

  • Strong discretion in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information.
