Location: OCONUS
Job Description: The Field Technical Representative role exists to support the Global 6000 by performing comprehensive aircraft maintenance services to ensure a safe and reliable operation.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on assigned aircraft and ground support equipment
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair aircraft systems
Read and understand maintenance manuals and understand the requirements
Communicate with the Base Maintenance Manager on any aircraft issues
Maintain a safe and clean work environment and report any unsafe conditions
Properly complete required paperwork to comply with Federal Regulations and applicable company policies
Maintain responsibility for proper execution of parts tag instructions in accordance with the Repair Station
Other duties as required
Skills/Qualifications:
FAA A&P Certificate required
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance
Valid US Passport
Minimum of 2-3 years of Bombardier Global 6000 experience required
Ability to travel away from home location
Good teamwork, communication, problem solving and decision-making skills
Basic computer skills
Strong customer service skills
Highly resourceful
Able to work under austere conditions
Ability to work in tight spaces, work at elevated heights, lift balance and carry 50 lbs.
